In photography groups and forums, people regularly post “How do I fix a double chin?” questions; and other people regularly jump in with “Liquify it”.
Well, Liquify plays a role in some double chin fixes, that’s true. But it’s never the sole solution by itself, and sometimes it’s not the solution at all. Dodge and burn plays a huge role.
Here’s a fix I did without any Liquify. Just evening out those shadows, that’s all:
